Last round before the end of Pisa Connectathon

Submitted by Eric Poiseau

First we would like to thank you all for your participation to that 11th European Connectathon. We hope to see you all of you in a future connectathon. We have appreciated the work with you although this was very stressful...

Here are your priorities for this morning.

  • Connectathon Grading : You will find pass/fail Connectathon grades in gazelle by selecting Connectathon/Connectathon Results. The entries are color coded: You should uncheck the Show Options box so you see only profile/actors; we do not grade all the options.
    • Green/Pass: Testing complete for that actor/profile
    • White: Not enough tests yet to pass. (see "Prioritizing.." below)
    • Pink: You have not shown progress in testing. We are failing this combination and will not spend time grading individual tests on Friday. If you have failed a profile, we will not report that failure. Use your time Friday morning to work on something that is White.
  • Prioritizing your remaining work Handling of 'Critical' tests continues. It will increase the priority of the test validation and will signal monitors to evaluate that test first. With only 3 hours remaining, effectively, items not Critical will not rise to the top of the queue so please only do this for tests you need.
  • At Noon Gazelle will be turned off Friday at noon. More email (on the google group) will be sent out when it is back on line and what you should do to check your results. Not all grading will be completed Friday at 12:00 noon.

Some responses to Frequently Asked Questions after the connectathon :

  • When will Gazelle be back online ?
We will transfert the backup of the database and the backup of the files (logs) back to Rennes today and we hope that Gazelle will be back online before you reach home (if you are not living in Pisa !)
  • When/Where will the results be published ?
The results of the connectathon will be publish in the Connectathon Result Matrix. I need some time to review the grades and mark the pass and fails. I will publish a preliminary matrix that you will be able to review before the official release. Planning is before may 9th. Note that results are only publish at the company level. Not results about the individual systems. No information about failure.
  • How can I promote my participation to the Connectathon ?
    1. Point your customers to the Result Matrix
    2. Add your IHE Integration Statements to the IHE Product Registry
  • Can we share pictures of the connectathon ?
Yes we have a Gallery section where as a logged user (http://gazelle.ihe.net) account you can drop pictures. If you prefer contact me and I will set up an ftp for the sharing of the pictures.

Have a very nice trip back home and we hope that you will have some time to relax now.
